The M1.5 flare lasted 38 minutes

On the night of September 20, a flare of the penultimate power class was recorded on the Sun. This was reported by TASS with reference to the Institute of Applied Geophysics (FSBI "IPG").

On September 20, at 00:41 Moscow time, an M1.5 flare lasting 38 minutes was recorded in the X-ray range in the spot group 4216 (N07W25).

Specialists from the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the IKI RAS and ISZF SB RAS previously noted that a slow increase in flare activity is observed on the Sun.

On the night of September 10, an unpredictable G2-level magnetic storm occurred on Earth. This event was the largest this year.
