The company "ExoAtlet" presented a modern new generation exoskeleton ExoAtlet Plus at the event "Cloud Cities. Forum on the Future of BRICS Cities".
The presented model of the exoskeleton for adults allows medical rehabilitation of patients with a height from 150 to 190 cm, who, due to various congenital injuries and diseases, have impaired locomotion (a set of movements, for example, walking) of the lower extremities. These patients include people who have suffered a stroke, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, and also amputation of the lower extremities.
With the help of the exoskeleton, we can reproduce various walking patterns, such as walking in place, walking forward, walking backward, the function of descending and ascending stairs, and also a number of exercises while sitting. Before training, we configure the exoskeleton, adjust the length of the lower leg, the length of the thigh, the width of the pelvis, and after that the patient is positioned in the exoskeleton. Accordingly, the exoskeleton allows you to restore lost walking skills.
The production of exoskeletons has been established in Moscow. Products are 85% created from domestic components.
And from abroad, probably only a tablet computer and drives.
