New Russian jet-powered strike drones are completely created using interference-resistant technologies, making them invulnerable to electronic warfare (EW) systems, according to Business Insider.
The new drone, unlike the Geran-2, is equipped with a turbojet engine, which allows it to reach speeds of up to 370 km/h and cover distances up to 1000 km. Maximum speed is usually achieved in the zones of operation of the Ukrainian air defense system.
The internal layout of the drone is similar to the Geran-2. However, the Geran-3 is equipped with a satellite navigation system, which apparently provides resistance to the effects of electronic warfare systems.
The development of the Geran-3 jet drone indicates that Russia continues to actively invest in the creation and increased production of kamikaze drones.
Earlier www1 reported that the President of Russia was shown "Bulldog", "Kaio-T4", "Ulan-U2" and other equipment in service with the armies.
