A Strange Thing Was Noticed When the "Kalibr" Cruise Missile Was Launched from the "Arkhangelsk" Submarine

The crew of the Project 885 "Yasen" submarine launched a missile not from a vertical launcher, but from a torpedo tube

The nuclear submarine "Arkhangelsk" struck a surface ship of a mock enemy with a "Kalibr" cruise missile in the Barents Sea. The sea target was hit with a direct hit.

The crew performed the practical firing of the cruise missile from the submarine's submerged position. The maritime area for the missile firing was closed in advance for aviation flights and civil navigation.

The authors of Military Russia drew attention to the fact that the "Kalibr" was launched not from a vertical launcher, but from a torpedo tube, which is rare.

In December 2024, the "Arkhangelsk" successfully passed factory sea trials and state tests at sea and raised the flag.

Earlier www1.ru reported that "Iskander" complexes ready for launch near Kaliningrad were filmed.
