Новый военный объект размером с 280 футбольных полей строят в Белоруссии

A large-scale construction of a new military base has begun in Belarus, the area of which exceeds 2 km², which is comparable to 280 football fields. The preparation of the site near the village of Pavlovka started in June 2024, and in 2025 the work entered an active phase.

In the western part of the facility, about 1 km² of forest was cleared, three hangars 100 m long and 13 ammunition depots were built behind defensive walls. Foundations were also laid for various buildings, which were connected by a network of roads, most of which have already been asphalted.

Analysts conditionally divide the new facility into four sectors. Foundations were laid on the northern site, probably for hangars. Earth embankments and a building frame almost 150 meters long were noticed in the east. All this makes the base one of the largest construction projects in the region. One of the versions is that it will house Oreshnik medium-range ballistic missiles (MRBMs).
