Russia will replace Czech training aircraft with Russian counterparts, according to Alexey Matveev, Director of the Mikoyan Design Bureau.
It is noted that Russia still uses the L-39 Albatros "flying desk" to train pilots. The training aircraft made its first flight in 1968.
This niche is currently being developed so actively that in a few years, machines of Czech production will definitely be replaced.

Matveev clarified that the outdated machines will be replaced by MiG-UTS for the initial stage of training, Yak-130 for the second, and UTS-800 for the following.
