BelAZ has demonstrated a prototype of a new gas-diesel mining dump truck with a payload capacity of 130 tons, which has joined the top 7513 series, which received the State Quality Mark of Belarus in 2025.
The new dump truck is equipped with an engine that operates in gas-diesel mode, providing the possibility of replacing up to 50% of diesel fuel with liquefied natural gas (LNG). The fuel supply control system provides for optimizing the ratio of diesel and LNG to achieve maximum operating efficiency.
An LNG tank with a volume of 1400 liters and a diesel fuel tank with a volume of 1900 liters provide a 12-hour operating cycle without refueling. Engine power is 1194 kW (1600 hp), which is comparable to diesel counterparts.
The new dump truck engine will reduce operating costs due to the lower cost of gas and reduce harmful emissions. BELAZ-7513W significantly improves fuel efficiency and economy of mining operations.
