Largest Russian Electronics Manufacturer Runs Out of Money and Is Embroiled in Lawsuits

"PC Aquarius" Faces 16 Lawsuits Totaling 20 Million Rubles

Russian electronics manufacturer "PC Aquarius" has faced 16 lawsuits totaling over 250 million rubles in the last month.

The plaintiffs include printed circuit board supplier Gran Group, distributor Axoft, and contract electronics assembler ALT Master. Aquarius stopped fulfilling its financial obligations to counterparties back in January of this year. This problem persists to this day.

The main reason for this situation is the lack of funds due to a cash gap. Other market participants also note that other companies in the industry are experiencing similar financial difficulties amid the cooling economy.

A representative of Aquarius stated that the difficulties with fulfilling payment obligations are temporary. The company has already overcome the main problems and, after "important changes in the management structure," is striving to fulfill all reasonable requirements of its counterparties.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the Ufa Diesel Locomotive Repair Plant went bankrupt.
