The Romanov automobile plant in St. Petersburg has produced approximately 50 BAZ off-road trucks for civilian use.
The company is completing the vehicle certification process and has created a service and sales network. Sales are expected to be announced soon. According to a source, one car has already been sold. However, it remains unclear how this happened before obtaining official vehicle type approval (OTTS).
BAZ S32A51 is a pre-production model of a Russian dump truck with a 6×6 wheel arrangement, developed by Romanov JSC.
The civilian BAZ is one of the few mass-produced heavy trucks in the world with fully independent suspension.
The price of a dump truck on the BAZ 6x6 chassis starts from 18 million rubles.
