Specialists at the RTC Rusich have developed a turret for combating drones that fires shot and has a self-homing function. It was shown at the IV All-Russian Convention of Drone Operators and Manufacturers "Drone-2025".
According to a representative of the RTC, the product is designed to combat drones in the near zone. Its range does not exceed 70 m.
The turret is equipped with two "Saiga-12" shotguns. Our product implements a target guidance system and preemptive firing.
The development has 2 cameras, which are used for control. The system integrated into the turret recognizes the coordinates of the drone and sends a signal to open fire.
There are currently 2 versions of the product:
- "Brass knuckles" (ammunition with two drums of 20 rounds each)
- "Bird-eater" (uninterrupted ammunition supply of 200 rounds per barrel)
The operator controls the turret with an FPV remote control, wearing FPV goggles. The RTC wants to improve the guidance system to eliminate automatic firing at random targets.
