St. Petersburg engineers from the company "Rusich" have developed a special barrier system "Aurelia" to combat unmanned boats. It has already been tested in the waters of the Gulf of Finland with the participation of representatives of the Russian Navy.

"Aurelia" can be installed on the water in the area of strategic facilities to create protection against attacks by surface unmanned and manned boats.

A representative of the developer explained that "Aurelia" sucks in active elements, disables the engine of the BEC or boat with water jets, submersible engine.

The system consists of modules, each of which is 10 m long and 3 m wide. It is a floating support, a connecting net, anti-water jet elements and a submersible anchor.
