The newest marine robotic boat "Bandit" was shown for the first time in Veliky Novgorod at the All-Russian gathering of operators of combat unmanned systems "Drone". This was reported by the developer company "Rusich".
The boat is undergoing testing and is controlled via radio channel or video communication. Its range reaches 400 km. According to the company, "Bandit" is capable of operating both in kamikaze mode and for performing transport tasks. Its payload is about 500 kg, and the maximum speed exceeds 40 knots (74 km/h).
The developers clarified that the boat can be used to deliver ammunition, medicines, and food. Cargoes are placed in internal compartments or transported by towing non-self-propelled vessels. "Bandit" is scheduled to undergo combat testing in the spring of 2026.
