Vessel «Skat» of the «Nautilus-800» project

The vessel was built in 2025 at the facilities of LLC «Special Boats» in Vsevolozhsk, Leningrad Region. «Skat» became the seventh navigation support vessel of the branch and the 79th in the organization's fleet. It is equipped with a measuring complex with a multi-beam echo sounder Hydro-Tech MS400P, which allows performing works at depths up to 140 meters with a view of up to 140 degrees. The boat is 8.8 meters long and 3.18 meters wide, has an engine with a capacity of 220.6 kW and develops a speed of up to 25 knots.

The branch noted that «Skat» is the fourth vessel of the «Nautilus-800» project at their disposal. Similar boats — «Gals», «Katran» and «Sargan» — are already used for hydrographic works in the ports of the Azov-Black Sea basin. The design of the vessel includes a shaft for the echo sounder, which simplifies its installation and dismantling, and also prevents damage during mooring. The crew consists of two people, and up to three specialists can be on board.

The «Nautilus-800» boat belongs to the GIMS class, has autonomy of less than a day and is intended for navigation in areas of complexity category IV category III. Its draft is 1.1 meters, the height of the side is 1.2 meters.
