According to preliminary estimates, the income from gray mining amounted to about 250 thousand rubles monthly, and the damage from unauthorized electricity consumption reached about 1 million rubles.

Gray mining poses a serious problem for power grid companies. According to the Stolypin Institute, the annual damage is about 10 billion rubles. At the same time, the economy loses about 9.6 billion rubles due to non-payment of taxes by miners.
