In 2024, the highest number of traffic violations were recorded in Moscow, Moscow Region, and Dagestan. This is evidenced by data from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In the capital, over 1.16 million drivers committed violations, while in the Moscow Region, the figure was around 1.14 million. Dagestan recorded 516,000 violators.
In St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, more than 523,000 motorists were found to have violated traffic rules, and in the Sverdlovsk Region, the number exceeded 377,000.
The Central Federal District ranked first in the number of violators, with 3.4 million drivers. The Volga District came in second with 1.8 million cases, and the North Caucasus District was third with 1.1 million.
In total, more than 11.8 million motorists in Russia committed violations last year.
