Russian operator Yota has launched a new free service that allows you to transfer your tariff plan to other subscribers — while maintaining all the original conditions, including the subscription fee. This is reported by the service's press service.
The service works even for archived tariffs that are not available for regular connection, and is supported for any voice plans, the package can be transferred to any region.
To transfer the tariff, the owner must create a promo code in the application or in the personal account and send it to the recipient via any messenger. The recipient can activate the promo code by applying for a new SIM card in the Yota salon or by transferring the number to the operator using the MNP (Mobile Number Portability) procedure.
Yota notes that the tariff can be shared not only with other people, but also with yourself — for example, to connect a second number for work or several devices. One user can create up to five copies of the tariff. The promo code is valid for 50 days; if it is not used during this time, the transfer attempt is returned to the owner.
