Для цифровизации Сибири: Россети проложили 117 км оптоволокна в Югре

The new communication line connected the network management center in the city of Kogalym with five remote substations

Rosseti Tyumen has commissioned a new 117-kilometer fiber-optic communication line (FOCL) in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug — Ugra. The construction was completed on the 110 kV energy transit "Progress — Tavricheskaya". The total investment in the project exceeded 400 million rubles.

The new communication line connected the network management center in the city of Kogalym with five remote substations: "Rosa", "Photon", "Non-Yeganskaya", "Progress" and "Tavricheskaya". These facilities provide electricity to the oil fields of Lukoil, including Vatyeganskoye.

Modern telecommunications equipment of Russian production was installed at the substations. According to the company, the use of fiber optics ensures high data transfer rates, noise immunity and protection against unauthorized access. This allows operational personnel to receive information from remote sites in real time.

Part of the capacity of the new communication line can be leased to telecommunications operators for the development of communication services in the region.

The project is part of the program for the development of the digital communication infrastructure of the Rosseti group. Earlier, in July 2025, the company commissioned a 135-kilometer fiber-optic communication line in the Omsk region.
