Construction of a tracking and telemetry station for the Vostochny Cosmodrome continues on Sakhalin.
Construction of the facility began in the Poronaysky District in 2022 and is important for monitoring flights, including the launch of the heavy-lift Angara rocket. Antennas for the station were developed by a Russian company specifically for the conditions of Sakhalin.
In the unified technological module, low-current networks are being laid, entrance groups, heating and ventilation systems are being installed, the base is being insulated, finishing work is being carried out, and the territory is being landscaped.
In the administrative and amenity building with a checkpoint, work continues on laying internal engineering networks, interior decoration, laying ceramic tiles, and installing air ducts in the attic.
In the hotel building, plastering work is being carried out, water supply networks are being installed, heating radiators and air conditioners are being installed, a ventilation system is being installed, the blind area and sidewalks are being concreted, and preparations are being made for asphalting the roads.
The construction of the station will allow tracking the trajectory of flights over the central part of Sakhalin and will ensure the operation of the Vostochny Cosmodrome at a new level.
