Specialists of the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant (JSC "IMZ", part of the "Kalashnikov" concern) have produced a limited series of spring-piston rifles MP-512S-09 in a premium version. The product received a wooden stock made of high-category walnut.
The series was made for Gunsmith Day, which is celebrated on September 19. The improved rifle differs from the serial MP-512S by the presence of a metal coupling made of aviation aluminum. It will add strength and wear resistance.
Features of the MP-512S-09 rifle:
- extended trigger and double-sided muzzle-handle to reduce effort when pulling/cocking
- collimator sight (weapon is sighted, shoots accurately)
- compressor, mainspring and internal mechanisms can be lubricated through the magazine window without removing the stock
- bunker-type magazine for storing bullets
- lead bullets are used — 4.5 mm.

- product weight — 3.07 kg
All visible metal parts of the product are prepared before coating by hydro-abrasive treatment, which gives the surface a matte, "velvety" structure.
The stock is decorated with "Trifoliate" checkering. Thanks to the symmetrical design, the stock is comfortable for right-handers and left-handers.
