Moscow Exchange has announced the development of services for private investors based on generative artificial intelligence.
Such AI agents will be able to help clients search for investment ideas, analyze company reports and form strategies, partially replacing the work of financial analysts. Among the developments is the universal assistant FinGPT, which already knows how to select financial products, explain complex terms and generate investment scenarios.
Experts note that the use of AI in finance speeds up data processing, reduces the cost of analytics and makes it more accessible to a wide audience. However, the risks are also significant: algorithms are not able to adequately assess unexpected events such as crises, may be mistaken due to fake news or incorrectly set requests. The massive use of similar models is also capable of causing chain reactions and even a market collapse.
The introduction of generative AI is changing the approach to investment for millions of private clients. Such services can make the market more accessible, but require caution: the investor will most often be responsible for the mistakes of artificial intelligence.
