Livadia Ship Repair Yard (Livadia SSY) launched the passenger-and-freight vessel "Alexey Startsev". This was reported by the press service of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East.
The passenger-and-freight vessel "Alexey Startsev" was laid down in 2023.
The new year-round vessel, with a capacity of 30 people and 3 cars, will transport cargo and passengers to Putyatin Island. The vessel can operate in ferry mode and has the ability to moor on an undeveloped shore, the maximum duration of the voyage is up to 24 hours. The vessel project was developed by the plant's own design bureau.
The vessel will operate year-round between the mainland part of Primorye and the island regions.
Livadia SSY, as a resident of the free port of Vladivostok, is implementing an investment project in two directions: the production of floating docks and piers, as well as the disposal of ships and the production of scrap metal. The company demonstrates high rates of development and makes a significant contribution to strengthening the shipbuilding complex of the Primorsky Territory.
