Crews of T-90M "Proryv" tanks conducted night practical firing at a training ground in the Southern Military District (YuVO). The firing was conducted at appearing and moving targets, said the commander of the combat vehicle with the call sign Limon.
The distance to the target was about 2 km, the military used armor-piercing discarding sabot or high-explosive fragmentation shells of 125 mm caliber.
The fire was adjusted with the help of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). Also, as part of the practical firing, the tankers practiced the skills of working with standard night vision devices and thermal imagers, added Limon.
Night training at the training ground is very important, because there are engagements with direct fire even at night. After night firing at the training ground it will be easier to navigate even for new crews, since they will already know the approximate silhouettes of certain equipment.
The T-90M "Proryv" is equipped with a new multi-channel sight, ensuring the use of weapons at any time of the day. One of the main features of the tank is the ability to exchange data with other vehicles in real time.
