Russian military personnel used the PP-91M pontoon park during exercises to deploy a crossing

Military personnel of the 16th Engineer-Sapper Regiment of the "West" group of forces conducted training in deploying a river crossing. The soldiers used the PP-91M pontoon park with the PP-2005M river section. This was reported in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The military personnel practiced installing a pontoon ferry across a water obstacle. In addition, they transported equipment to the other bank using a PTS tracked floating transporter.

The soldiers also organized electronic warfare posts and air observation points. All activities were carried out in conditions close to combat.

The PP-91M pontoon park is designed to equip bridge crossings for loads of 60 tons and ferry crossings for loads of 720 tons. The engineering equipment was accepted into service with the Russian Armed Forces in 2008. It includes river and coastal sections, M3-330 motor sections, and a BMK-225 tugboat.
