At the ComAutoTrans exhibition, the Minsk Automobile Plant, together with its Russian distributor MAZ-RUS LLC, will demonstrate its new development - the KUPAVA 673100 isothermal van. The model is designed for transport companies working with large retailers and is a comprehensive solution for business.
The isothermal van, built on the MAZ-63102L (6x2) chassis, features a number of innovations, including a rear lifting axle. For ease of loading and unloading, the vehicle is equipped with a 2-ton capacity tail lift, controlled from the remote control, which significantly speeds up and simplifies these processes.
The vehicle is equipped as part of a road train thanks to a zero-clearance coupling device and electropneumatic outputs. The aggregate base guarantees economy, reliability and low operating costs in cargo transportation. The vehicle's engine is a powerful 454-horsepower engine of Belarusian assembly, working in tandem with a 12-speed robotic gearbox. The leading hypoid axle (second axle) reduces fuel consumption and provides a smoother ride, quietness and overall efficiency. Pneumatic suspension of the drive and lifting axles with electronic control, as well as disc brakes, increase comfort and safety. The vehicle is equipped with ABS/PBS and ESP systems for directional stability. An aluminum fuel tank with a volume of 500 liters provides sufficient range.
The body structure is designed taking into account the installation of refrigeration equipment. The advantage of the body is the ability to quickly install sections requiring different temperature regimes, ranging from +6 to -18°C, depending on the requirements for the transportation of a particular cargo.
