The initiative to create a Belarusian-Chechen project appeared in 2024. In February 2025, representatives of "Argunspetsmash" were trained at production sites in Minsk and Borisov.

In April, the first samples of fire trucks assembled in the city of Argun using a significant list of Belarusian-made components were sent for testing and certification.

The ATs 5.0 tanker was built on the basis of a two-axle all-wheel drive chassis MAZ-5309. The car received a 5000 liter tank, all-wheel drive and single-tire "track in track" (one wheel on each axle).

The base for ATs 8.0 is the MAZ-6302 chassis, which has increased cross-country ability. A tanker with a volume of 8000 liters can be used on soils with low bearing capacity.
