Construction is underway at the KMZ enterprise by order of the Federal Public Institution Rechvodput

The acceptance commission signed the acts of transfer for two service vessels of project 3050.1A — "Fregat" and "Burevestnik". In the near future, they will join the fleet of the Administration of the Ob-Irtysh Basin of Inland Waterways.

Service vessel "Fregat"

The vessels are designed to service floating and coastal navigation marks, as well as to control depths on shipping routes. They are equipped with modern energy management systems, devices for servicing navigation equipment, communication and navigation equipment.

In total, it is planned to build 13 vessels under project 3050.1A. Previously, six of them have already been transferred to river administrations: "Kazarka" to the Volga-Baltic Basin, "Krechet" to the Volga-Don, "Chibis" and "Sterkh" to the Amur, "Sugoy" and "Anyuy" to the Lena.

The construction of the vessels is being carried out at the Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant by order of the Federal Public Institution "Rechvodput" within the framework of the federal project for the development of water transport.

A service vessel is a specialized vessel designed to service navigation equipment on waterways. It installs, repairs, and replaces floating (buoys, beacons) and coastal (leading marks, lighthouses) navigation marks, and also conducts depth measurements. Such vessels ensure the safety of navigation on rivers, lakes, and in coastal marine areas.
