Based on voting results, the Rostec State Corporation has included the multirole Su-35S fighter in the "Combat Monsters" art project. In the near future, the company will present the fourth-generation combat aircraft in a new image.
It is also worth noting that the Su-34 multirole front-line bomber came in second in terms of votes. This is symbolic, as this aircraft, together with the Su-35S, forms an effective combat tandem, Rostec noted.
The state corporation added that in joint combat operations, the Su-35S acts as a cover aircraft, while the Su-34 is a striking fist. The Su-35S is equipped with a phased array radar (radar) that allows it to detect and track numerous targets.
The duet of these platforms forms an effective strike complex capable of performing the most complex tactical tasks on the front. At the same time, the Su-35S with its "long arm" does not allow enemy aircraft to reach the lines of weapon use.
The media reported that the production volume of the Su-35S in Russia remained at the same high level.
