In honor of the Day of the Air Fleet, the Ministry of Transport of Russia published a video with "legends on which the history of our aviation was written." The video includes aircraft such as Ant-2, Il-14, Tu-104, Tu-114, An-24, Il-62, Tu-134, Tu-154, Tu-204, Sukhoi Superjet.
The department concluded the parade with the MC-21-300 aircraft. This modification was created using a large number of imported system components, and it never went into serial production due to the tightening of sanctions against the domestic aircraft industry.
Now the import-substituted MC-21-310 should become a serial production model. The first flight of the fully Russian MC-21-310 was supposed to take place in June-July, but that month it was postponed to August.
The certification of the MC-21-310 will be completed by the end of the summer of 2026. The first deliveries to the launch customer, the Aeroflot Group, are expected in the fourth quarter of 2026.
