"ЕZS RusHydro" (part of "RusHydro") has started construction of the first two multifunctional charging complexes (MZK) on the M-11 "Neva" high-speed highway along the Moscow - St. Petersburg route. This was reported in the company's press service.
The pilot complexes will be located in the Solnechnogorsk urban district of the Moscow region at 63 and 75 km of the highway.
The MZK will include two types of charging stations: fast ones with a capacity of 150–210 kW and slow ones with a capacity of 22 kW.
MZKs are modern hubs that combine charging infrastructure for electric vehicles and a wide range of services for drivers and passengers. Each complex includes a single service building with an area of 900 square meters, which will house a cafe, supermarket, pharmacy and other services.
Multifunctional charging complexes will begin operations in 2026. In the future, the number of such hubs on the highway may reach six.
