Wildberries launches a new service where users can sell previously purchased goods

Payment for goods put up for resale is made separately from regular purchases

The Wildberries team, a leading Russian online platform, has announced the launch of a new service. It allows users to sell their goods to each other. The company's press service reported that now every customer can place ads for the sale of goods previously purchased on the platform.

The C2C (customer-to-customer) service is available to all users in Russia both on the website and in the Wildberries mobile application. In a separate "Resale" section, customers can find buyers among other platform users.

Payment for goods put up for resale is made separately from regular purchases. Only 100% prepayment is available. After placing an order, the buyer will be able to pick up the goods from the Wildberries pick-up point that he specifies.

According to the company's press service, testing of the new service has shown its popularity among customers. Currently, users participating in the test have placed almost 10 thousand ads in the "Resale" section. The most popular categories of goods are "Clothing", "Beauty" and "Shoes".
