The official launch of the national messenger Max will take place in early autumn 2025, according to VK Vice President for Economics and Finance Alexander Morozov.
The company announced that the messenger will soon be integrated with the "Gosuslugi" portal. It is planned to introduce a digital identifier to verify identity without paper documents, as well as electronic signature and educational services.
The beta version of Max was introduced in March. The application allows you to exchange messages, make calls, send voice recordings and files up to four gigabytes in size. The platform is available in the App Store, RuStore and Google Play.
Users can already subscribe to channels, react, customize notifications, pin channels and group them into folders.
