In the first half of 2025, the Letai operator (part of the Tattelecom group) upgraded and built more than 100 base stations, which improved the quality of communication in the northern and eastern regions of Tatarstan.
In July, the operator expanded the LTE coverage area in the Atninsky and Baltasinsky districts, providing stable communication for residents of the villages of Bolshaya Atnya, Norma and the village of Kurmala. Coverage also improved in parts of Arsk, including the Kazan — Malmyzh highway. In the Kazan agglomeration, new stations appeared in Zalesny and on Albert Kamaleev Avenue, and in the village of Kuralovo the local base station was updated.
In the east of the republic, communication was improved in Nizhnyaya Uratma (Nizhnekamsk district) and the village of Zyuri (Mamadyshsky district). Strengthening 4G coverage was especially important during the Pitrau holiday, which was attended by about 60 thousand people.
