Detects drones at a great distance: "Rasad" acoustic sensor system from CBST presented

The complex will improve the security of critical facilities

Russian engineers have developed a unique distributed network of acoustic sensors for "Rasad" to detect and combat drones. This was reported at the Center for Unmanned Systems and Technologies (CBST).

The system combines modern sensors and an intelligent data processing platform, allowing drones to be detected at a significant distance and in difficult conditions.
Representative of CBST

The complex is based on a network of compact and energy-efficient acoustic sensors that record the noise signatures of drones. The innovative architecture of the development has increased the detection range.

The "Digital Watch" multimodal platform is used for "Rasad". With its help, it is possible to integrate data from various types of sensors: acoustic, optical, radar and radio engineering. This approach ensures a high level of detection and classification of UAVs even in conditions of active interference.

The CBST believes that the system can be used to protect critical facilities. In addition, it is suitable for monitoring noise levels at civil industrial facilities.
