Indestructible Truck: "Dronobus" Fiber Optic Drone Delivery Vehicle Shown in Moscow

The "Kornei" Research and Technology Center's development can carry up to 150 kilograms

Engineers from the "Kornei" Research and Technology Center (RTC) have for the first time showcased the "Dronobus" complex for delivering and launching drones with fiber optic control. The presentation took place at the "Unmanned Systems: Technologies of the Future" forum in Moscow.

The intelligent complex includes a ground-based unmanned vehicle platform and a hardware-software complex.

Characteristics of the "Dronobus":

  • Ground platform range — 10 km
  • UAV operating range from carrier — 15 km
  • Payload capacity — up to 150 kg
  • Operating temperature range: from -20 to +40°С.

The "Unmanned Systems: Technologies of the Future" venue will be open until August 17 in Skolkovo. More than 300 Russian manufacturing companies are participating here. They are presenting products for military and civilian purposes.
