T2 to offer subscribers to pass a captcha to access mobile Internet under restrictions

After verification, users will get access for 12 hours with the possibility of extension

The operator T2 (formerly Tele2) has developed a new mechanism for accessing the mobile network under restrictions related to security measures.

Subscribers will be offered to go through a simple verification procedure, including entering a captcha. After that, access to the mobile Internet will be open for 12 hours, after which it will need to be extended.

The company noted that the solution fully complies with security requirements and can be launched after obtaining regulatory approval.

Earlier, the Ministry of Digital Development and communications operators approved a scheme that will allow access to a number of digital services even when the mobile Internet is disabled. Subscribers will be able to pass the captcha and access the "white list" - taxi, marketplaces, delivery.
