Beeline blocked more than 6000 dropper numbers in the first two summer months

Criminals often involve teenagers, students, and elderly people in such schemes

Beeline blocked more than 6000 numbers associated with dropping in just two months - June and July 2025. We are talking about numbers that were used in financial fraud schemes through front men - droppers.

Criminals often involve vulnerable categories of citizens in such schemes - teenagers, students, and the elderly. People are persuaded to issue SIM cards, bank cards, or transfer other people's funds, often under pressure or deception. On July 5, criminal liability for dropping came into force in Russia.

Bank details and SIM cards are part of a digital identity. They cannot be transferred to third parties. Beeline advises not to disclose personal data, block lost cards, and be careful about calls from allegedly "official" structures.
