An asteroid flew over the Irkutsk region on the night of August 8, according to the Babr Mash Telegram channel.

Videos of a bright glowing object crossing the sky were filmed in the village of Kuda and the village of Markova. It was also observed in Irkutsk, Ulan-Ude and on the island of Olkhon.

Astronomer Sergei Yazov confirmed that it was an asteroid about 10 centimeters in size. It flew over the region for several seconds and burned up in the atmosphere at an altitude of about 20-30 kilometers.
