TelecomDaily agency published the results of a study on home internet speed in Moscow for the period from January to June 2025. The analysis covered the five largest operators in terms of subscribers, with measurements taken for four key parameters: average and maximum data download and upload speeds.
In the first half of the year, the average download speed in the networks of these providers reached 120 Mbps, which corresponds to the results of the same period last year. At the same time, the maximum indicators increased significantly.
According to the totality of speed characteristics, MTS confidently maintains leadership, demonstrating the highest values for all measured parameters. The second position was taken by Rostelecom, followed by MegaFon (in partnership with NetByNet), Beeline (VimpelCom) and ER-Telecom (together with Akado).

Over six months, about 400 thousand measurements were taken in the capital, which made it possible to form an objective picture of the quality of broadband access.
