The first footage of debris from the air-launched hypersonic missile "Kinzhal" for MiG-31K fighters and Tu-22M3 bombers has appeared online.
The "Kinzhal" complex missiles can travel at hypersonic speeds of up to Mach 10.
Military pilot Alexey Voevoda explained that the footage shows the protective casing of the "Kinzhal".
It contains 48 kilograms of duralumin. So, go for it. But! This only works with casings! If unsure, don't touch it!
The "Kinzhal" complex with a hypersonic missile and a MiG-31 carrier aircraft was developed by the Kolomna Design Bureau of Mechanical Engineering in collaboration with RSC "MiG" in the 2000s–2010s.
The missile is based on the 9M723 aeroballistic missile of the "Iskander-M" — a compact projectile carrying various types of warheads and capable of being launched at any initial speed and at any altitude of the carrier. As a result, Russian engineers created an air missile complex that has no analogues in the world.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the rate of delivery of Su-57 fighters to the Russian Aerospace Forces has increased.
