Новую котельную в Южно-Сахалинске введут в эксплуатацию в 2026 году: компания «Росатома» приступила к строительству

Rosatom Infrastructure Solutions is implementing the project under a concession agreement with the government of the Sakhalin Region

Rosatom Infrastructure Solutions (RIS, part of Rosatom) has started construction of a gas boiler house in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. The 130 MW thermal power facility will increase the reliability of heat supply to the central part of the city.

The new boiler house will allow connecting about 30,000 consumers to centralized heating, as well as social and commercial facilities, including schools, a residential complex, and a hotel. The facility is scheduled to be launched at the end of 2026.

The project is being implemented under a concession agreement with the government of the Sakhalin Region, signed in 2024 at the Eastern Economic Forum. This is the second such RIS project in the region: in 2023, the company commissioned the Yuzhnaya boiler house, providing heat to more than 11,000 residents.

RIS is a division of Rosatom engaged in energy, housing and communal services, and digitalization. The company manages power plants in 16 regions of Russia.
