The main directions of development of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) are to increase the combat capabilities of the existing fleet of operational-tactical aviation aircraft, said First Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the VKS, Lieutenant General Alexander Maksimtsev.
He specified that this concerns Su-30SM(SM2), Su-34 and Su-35S fighters, strategic missile carriers to the Tu-160M, Tu-95M(SM) configurations, and long-range missile-carrying bombers Tu-22M3.
As well as the fleet of super-heavy long-range military transport aircraft An-124 and heavy military transport aircraft Il-76MD through their further modernization.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the latest R-77M missiles with a range of 190 km have entered service with Su-35S fighters.
