Specialists from Astron Aero Design Bureau have modernized the BPLA400T mini-quadcopter with a Russian thermal imager. The probability of detecting and hitting targets has increased to almost 100%.
According to a representative of the Design Bureau, the advantage of reconnaissance using the BPLA400T lies in the use of the camera. If necessary, the operator can zoom in on the desired point using the zoom.
This is an eternal struggle for high noise immunity and ever greater range. New control and signal transmission channels were developed from scratch.
In addition to the development of drones, the engineers of the Design Bureau also produce thermal imaging cameras. They are now introducing a new technology in the manufacturing process of matrices for thermal imagers. The main parameters for such equipment are serial production and low cost.
We use WLP technology. In this case, the packaging of photosensitive matrices occurs directly on the plate with chips.
Characteristics of BPLA400T:
- Take-off weight — 1.195 kg
- Flight speed in calm weather — 10 m/s
- Flight time in calm weather — 40 min
- Range — up to 6000 m
- Positioning system — GPS, GLONASS
