Crews of the Iskander-M operational-tactical missile systems (OTRK) solved the tasks of destroying critical objects of a mock enemy as part of the Eastern Military District exercises in the Primorsky Territory, the Russian Ministry of Defense reports.
During the training, the Iskander OTRK crews marched to the designated area. Driver mechanics reinforced their driving skills in various terrains.
Upon arrival at the training point, the missilemen deployed the systems on unprepared positions.
After receiving the target coordinates, the Iskander OTRK crews destroyed the command posts and air defense systems of the mock enemy by performing electronic launches of cruise missiles.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Admiral Nakhimov cruiser with Kalibr, Tsirkon, and Onyx missiles has completed repairs.
