The "Uralvagonzavod" concern continues to actively develop a new heavy assault robotic complex (TShRK) "Shturm" based on the T-90 tank; footage of the combat vehicle has surfaced online.
"Shturm" was filmed on video in Nizhny Tagil while returning from testing. The tank was moving to the enterprise, with a crew inside. Immediately following it in the frame was a new control vehicle on the chassis of the T-72/T-90 tank.
TShRK "Shturm" differs from the T-90 by a shortened barrel of the 125-mm D-414 gun. The military requested that the tank have the ability to rotate the turret 360 degrees.
The autoloader holds 22 rounds. In addition, the tank is equipped with all-aspect protection against anti-tank weapons and a bulldozer blade. The complex should withstand up to 15 hits from hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers.
Earlier,www1.ru reported thatthe cruiser "Admiral Nakhimov" with "Caliber", "Zircon", and "Onyx" missiles has completed repairs.
