A new private space company has appeared in Russia - "Private Space Company "NOY" LLC, registered in Moscow on July 16. The company's authorized capital is 30 billion rubles, and Dmitry Antonychev is listed as the head and founder.
In June, Dmitry Antonychev already shared plans to build a private cosmodrome for launching small satellites. However, the location of the future cosmodrome has not yet been specified.
The company "NOY" intends to implement the Noy Space Technologies low-orbit satellite constellation project, which will provide communication in hard-to-reach regions of the Arctic and the Far East. It is also planned to introduce satellite communication systems for monitoring ice conditions on the Northern Sea Route and coordinating emergency rescue services in areas where there is no ground infrastructure.
Representatives of an Australian company specializing in launching small satellites into low orbits will participate in the launch of the first five satellites, and will also advise on the construction of satellites.
