NAVX 612/617 MFD and NAVX RADAR 6000 MFD ship radar stations, developed by Transas Navigator, have been approved by specialists of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS).
The device, designed to detect and determine the parameters of marine objects using radio waves, meets the requirements of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea of 1974 (SOLAS-74).
Based on the documents issued by the Register, certificates of approval of communication and navigation equipment types (SOTA) can be issued in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Transport of Russia dated February 10, 2010 No. 32.
The NAVX 612/617 MFD radars are designed for use as navigation equipment on ships with a gross tonnage of less than 500 units, including high-speed ones. The NAVX RADAR 6000 MFD radar is suitable for ships with a larger gross tonnage, including from 10,000 units.
