В KMZ усовершенствовали якорь повышенной держащей силы

The modernized HHP anchor holds the vessel better than the Hall anchor

Specialists of SCB-2 KMZ have modernized the high holding power (HHP) anchor, eliminating its main disadvantage — the deviation of the fluke when approaching the hawsepipe (a special recess on the deck for securing the anchor), which could damage the vessel's hull.

To ensure that the anchor fluke always remains vertical and does not interfere with landing, the center of mass was shifted below the axis of rotation of the fluke. The new design was named PDSB.

This anchor provides reliable fixation of the vessel under the influence of wind, current, and waves, holding the vessel twice as well as the Hall anchor — the holding force reaches 6–8 masses of the anchor itself.

Documentation for all types of these anchors has been approved by the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
