Completion of the construction of the topside of the offshore platform for the D33 field in the Baltic Sea

The "Kliver" enterprise has successfully implemented a large-scale project in conditions of limited access to equipment

The Svetlovsky enterprise "Kliver" in the Kaliningrad region has completed the construction of the topside of the offshore platform for the D33 field, located at a depth of 74 meters in the Baltic Sea.

The field has become the deepest-water facility on the Russian shelf and the largest field discovered by LUKOIL in recent times, with reserves of about 21 million tons of oil.

The height of the platform support block exceeds 90 meters. The project was implemented despite difficulties such as limited access to specialized marine equipment. Seismic risks were taken into account during construction, and additional measures were developed to ensure the stability and safety of the platform.

The design was carried out by OOO "VolgogradNIPImorneft", and the license for the development of the site belongs to OOO "LUKOIL-Kaliningradmorneft". The route of linear structures will pass through the Gdansk Basin and the Curonian Uplift.
