Long-Range "Strannik" Platform with Satellite Control Enters Testing Phase

The complex is designed for cargo delivery, evacuation, and mining

Russian military personnel have begun testing the latest long-range robotic platform, "Strannik." The ground drone is designed for evacuating the wounded from the battlefield, remote mining of enemy positions, and delivering cargo to the front lines.

The drone can travel from 15 to 30 km depending on the battery capacity. For comparison, similar platforms can move with a repeater in conditions of operating electronic warfare systems for a maximum of 1.5 km.

The key difference between "Strannik" and its counterparts is satellite control. The operator can be located anywhere on the planet, requiring only a tablet or smartphone.

The complex weighs only 56 kg, making it difficult to hit with a kamikaze drone due to its small size. The speed of "Strannik" is 20 km/h.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that MiG-31 fighters used hypersonic "Kinzhal" missiles for the second time in three days.
