The crews of the "flying" T-80BVM tanks began to fire from a closed firing position. Operators of reconnaissance drones identify clusters of enemy equipment and personnel, and then transmit the target coordinates to the tankers.
Adjustment of fire and control of the destruction of identified enemy targets was carried out by calculations of unmanned aerial vehicles, which made it possible to minimize the time required for accurate fire destruction.
This method of firing allows the tank to be used as an artillery installation, increases the range of the strike to 12 km and allows the tank to remain hidden from enemy air reconnaissance assets.
The T-80 tank is the only domestic tank with a gas turbine engine. In the West, the car was nicknamed "flying" for its famous acceleration to 80 km/h.
Earlier www1.ru reported that MiG-31 fighters used hypersonic "Kinzhal" for the second time in three days.
